Discussion contents contained on Sonex Foundation’s websites reflect the views of individual participants only and do not necessarily reflect the views of Sonex Foundation. CHOICE OF LAW AND MANDATORY ARBITRATION

The demand for arbitration shall be made within a reasonable time after the claim, dispute or other matter in question has arisen, and in no event shall it be made after two (2) years from when the aggrieved party knew or should have known of the controversy, claim, dispute or breach.

The arbitration shall be conducted in accordance with the existing Rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall be conducted in Chicago, Illinois. The laws of the State of Illinois shall be applied in any arbitration proceedings, without regard to principles of conflict of laws. Each party shall pay its own proportionate share of arbitrator fees and expenses.

Sonex Foundation retains the right, to enforce its rights against any person(s) violating Sonex Foundation’s Copyright/Media and Trademarks Policy, especially those who attempt to sell Recordings or use Sonex Foundation’s trademarks or trade names for commercial purposes without express written permission from Sonex Foundation. Violators shall be subject to all available remedies of U.S. and International law, including injunctive relief.
